We hope this list will help mum's-to-be to remember what they need in their hospital bag when going into hospital for your little arrival.


Dressing Gown
2 Nightdresses / Nightshirts (suitable for breastfeeding if doing so)
Slippers
Disposable Pants
2 or 3 Normal pairs of pants
Bra (suitable for breastfeeding if doing so)
Maternity Sanitary Pads
Toothpaste & Toothbrush
Shampoo
Face Cloth & or Sponge
2 Towels
Breast Pads
Possible TENS Machine
Birth Plan
Music to listen to before, during or after the birth
Moisturiser for mum
Muslin Squares
Baby Bodysuits or vests
Baby Sleepsuits
Scratch mitts
Baby hat
Possibly Baby bootees
Baby Bibs
Baby Shawl for going home (optional)
Possibly nappies for going home
Baby carrier (optional)
Disposable Camera
Loose / easy clothing for going home (possibly suitable for breastfeeding)
List of telephone numbers
Money for telephone or television (not free in all hospitals)
Very Important! List of medication and or allergies (if appropriate)
Little teddy bear (optional)
Book or Magazine
Make-up if you wish
